Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Manager will work closely with members of the UCS partner ecosystem to drive solution definition and development. Primary activities include product strategy, product integration definition, go-to-market planning and coordination across Cisco organizations, and development of key product content. This individual will work closely with Technical Marketing, Central Marketing, Corporate Communications and Field Marketing to support joint go-to-market engagement and planning. You will make final decisions to ensure effective achievement of UCS objectives. The Senior Product Manager for partner ecosystems insures positive working relationship with and coordination between development efforts of the business unit, marketing planning efforts of the Central Marketing Organization, and field and channel enablement. Represents Cisco and Cisco products to internal/external organizations, customers and press, etc. Determines and drives short and mid-term strategic objectives.

Job Requirements:
1) Ten plus years of experience in product marketing management with a technical background in server technologies, data center infrastructures and applications and a good understanding of the industry is a must. Any of the following areas will be considered: (networks, storage systems and storage networking; server operating systems; virtualization technologies for network, storage and server; management)
2) Ten plus years in product/technology marketing with demonstrable success creating thought leadership in a new market
3) Ten plus years of excellent project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
4) Able to synthesize complex technical and market issues, develop insights into and solutions for those challenges, and gain acceptance and commitment from others.
5) Tackles complex issues in creative ways and uses originality, ingenuity and expertise to create effective and lasting solutions.
6) Proven ability to lead teams across decentralized organizations and success thriving in a matrix organization.
7) Strong, positive working relationships both internally (peers, managers, subordinates) and externally (customers, partners, sales force, indirect channels, press, analysts), proven success in securing commitments of resources (both internal and external) to deliver marketing programs.
8) Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
9) Typically requires BSEE/CS, Finance, or Marketing. MBA preferred
