Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Manager will work closely with members of the UCS partner ecosystem to drive solution definition and development. Primary activities include product strategy, product integration definition, go-to-market planning and coordination across Cisco organizations, and development of key product content. This individual will work closely with Technical Marketing, Central Marketing, Corporate Communications and Field Marketing to support joint go-to-market engagement and planning. You will make final decisions to ensure effective achievement of UCS objectives. The Senior Product Manager for partner ecosystems insures positive working relationship with and coordination between development efforts of the business unit, marketing planning efforts of the Central Marketing Organization, and field and channel enablement. Represents Cisco and Cisco products to internal/external organizations, customers and press, etc. Determines and drives short and mid-term strategic objectives.

Job Requirements:
1) Ten plus years of experience in product marketing management with a technical background in server technologies, data center infrastructures and applications and a good understanding of the industry is a must. Any of the following areas will be considered: (networks, storage systems and storage networking; server operating systems; virtualization technologies for network, storage and server; management)
2) Ten plus years in product/technology marketing with demonstrable success creating thought leadership in a new market
3) Ten plus years of excellent project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
4) Able to synthesize complex technical and market issues, develop insights into and solutions for those challenges, and gain acceptance and commitment from others.
5) Tackles complex issues in creative ways and uses originality, ingenuity and expertise to create effective and lasting solutions.
6) Proven ability to lead teams across decentralized organizations and success thriving in a matrix organization.
7) Strong, positive working relationships both internally (peers, managers, subordinates) and externally (customers, partners, sales force, indirect channels, press, analysts), proven success in securing commitments of resources (both internal and external) to deliver marketing programs.
8) Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
9) Typically requires BSEE/CS, Finance, or Marketing. MBA preferred

Job Title: Senior Technical Marketing Engineer – Virtualization Solutions Architect (VMware ESX,)

We are looking for a technical, dynamic, success driven and entrepreneurial TME architect to play a leadership role on strategic server virtualization datacenter product and solution. We are looking for candidates with strong Virtualization, server architecture and application background. You will be part of a dedicated team. Open communications, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success are the foundations of the team.Job responsibilities:Responsible for the total system level solution definition and implementation involving key server virtualization concepts.
Hands-on experience of Datacenter Solution, develop technical and marketing content involving Server platform, access layer, virtualization and application.Proven ability in taking used case scenarios and architecting compelling solution studies for our platform with differentiation where applicable.
Work closely with key Systems Integrators and Cisco Technology Partners to identify and penetrate target accountsCreating and updating marketing collateral, including data sheets, presentations, whitepapers, ROI calculators and case studies. Will act as the technical interface on customer sales calls, when required, and assist in preparing responses to RFP's, RFI's, and RFC's.Participate in proof of concept, product demonstrations and presentations.Working in the lab with client partners for product tear downs, feature comparisons, bench marking and demonstration set up development.Ability to present at conferences and seminars. This person should be capable of speaking at User Group events, industry events, etc. Works independently without much supervision.Skills and Requirements:Five plus years of Technical Marketing experience with focus on Field support is a mustFive Plus years of experience with Server Virtualization at large enterprise customers. Technologies such as VMware, Microsoft and Xen10+ years experience with server platform, blade server or rack mount server ( x86 )Experience and deep knowledge in the server virtualization concepts such as consolidation, live migration, disaster recovery etc. with proven hands-on experience. Ability to propose and implement solution studies based on Virtualization trends
Adept at developing solution guides, proof-of-concept studies, best practices studies.
Strong understanding of enterprise applications, database, and messaging solutions.
